THE SEPARATION AND THE ANACLITIC REACTION.

To the frustration of the me-macho mentality, so prevalent in the politics of the extreme right in the USA and elsewhere these days (who is acting out the macho-drama so vigorously), the self is not ‘a thing’ from which you can directly derive ‘power’. It is more, in part, at the psychological level, like an information system made up of a significant amount of ‘Autoplastic’ (about ‘Me’ ‘Joaquin’ -in my case) type of information. It is far from being moulded in universities. It is moulded in the relationship. In the interaction with other selves. Bad news for humanity because man is not predisposed to want to know who he is. He only wants to dictate who we are! 

He fears the self because among other inconveniences it contains, if explored in-depth, evidence of the Separation, that he is not ‘god’ just a sick mortal!

The majority of the self is coded under the analogic (feelings and emotions) code of similarities in the vastly ignored Emotional Self, not like the mental self (words), which is coined primarily digitally, like the word ‘cat’, which has no fur and does not scratch –has no similarity with the animal. ‘Joaquin’ is my digital label. And the mental self can easily lie. Not so the emotional one; unless you are a top actor. If you want to see that track for a while the politicians of your country :).

Thus, the Emotional Self has mainly been ignored as «sissy» by male-centred psychiatry as it has the word «love.» Yet, like it or not, love rules our lives -if not the universe. Never mind the gross denial of the male of the species. And speaking of that, some ladies in the American Senate, Right Wing, in particular, are showing that they can out-macho men:)

Under generalissimo Franco, military service was mandatory. I became a Lieutenant in the Spanish Marines. What did I learn? To kill before getting killed…Can you imagine the mess for the officials if the soldiers were to have the feelings they so desperately were trying to keep in while in battle? Repeat: To join the men’s club you have to forego your emotional self becoming «emotionally mute» -the more the better -the more ‘macho.’ A highly desirable aberration!

Yet, If born with an intact, healthy organism, we all loved mom. But with «love,» you do not acquire the type of POWER men covet over others. POWER instead stems, as a famous ‘gonorrheic warrior’ put it: ‘from the barrel of a gun….’ (Subjugation-Superiority).

Physical «heroes» who die for a medal? -maybe! But emotional cowards for sure who lie with gusto with their false selves to safeguard the pre-eminence given to males by the macho code for being ‘cool’. And the highly overestimated ‘mother.’ That sometimes, her children are the only thing she really has that truly cares about her. (Recommended reading: Unless You Become Like This Child. Parents have more choice in what they are going to do with their children than the children have with their parents. Ruled by the ‘Principle of Parental Deification’, (Dr. Joaquin F. Sousa-Poza. International Journal of Psychotherapy. July 2005) children are easy to prey upon for inept-disturbed (more often than not love-starved parents) who are deified socially by the simple fact of ‘being parents’. And, in turn, have to thank them for being sucked dry. When, in fact, the child has no choice -other than to adore her/his parents because, in their early stages, they confuse them with the Creator and they are purer, less corrupt emotionally than their parents.

Somewhere else I said: «the world lives from the love of our pets and our children!

-Yet, love; the mirroring, confirmation by another self of our unquestionable lovability («There is no I without Thou.» Said Martin Buber) is so critical that if mom disappears from the picture while the child’s self is still forming, we undergo a more-or-less severe Anaclitic Reaction-Depression; -a well-established clinical entity studied by John Bowlby and others; due to the fact that without the mother’s mirroring, the information that thus far constitutes the self begins its dissolution. There is nothing hardened prisoners fear the most than to be thrown into isolation for long periods of time. They as well as their guardians and psychiatrists, don’t know yet that the cause is the painful dissolution of the self by lack of mirroring once that the human interaction is cut.

-The self is an information-based Psychospiritual entity. It that cannot survive without the crucial mirroring (recognition) of its intrinsic lovability. («Lovability Principle» Sousa-Poza International Journal of Psychotherapy 2005)  and other Autoplastic information. Instead, it tends to collapse (perhaps under the Second Law of Thermodynamics?), partially or totally. Something that irks male psychiatry probably as much as the big pharmaceutic companies? who understand what it is «organic» only (matter, no information)  not-what Gregory Bateson called: «the difference that makes the difference.»

Ouch, brother! you will not like this one: Love, not «thinking,» plays a fundamental role in being; the most evolved form of intelligence we know: the human self! Because in self-knowledge, you are a bit retard; you are too obsessed with matching God in Power. What an awful idea.

Medication is very important and can be helpful.  Oh yes, without doubt, but not a substitute for love -as you are trying to pass it under the macho code! With the female of the species falling more and more in to that trap -while the world, as we know it, is falling apart because, under your aegis, we have no clue about what life is for and how to raise children! Psychiatric Medication is excellent. But we are misusing it to the delight of the pharmaceutical houses.

And I would add: «Under the male aegis»…

To use medication to «cure» the condition caused by the meaningless lives the male-mind system imposes upon us is a very bad-grotesque idea. You have to be very sick, to let the meaning and byproducts of money outshine the meaning and byproducts of love and life; like family, children, friends, charity, spirituality etc. etc. Right, Mr. Murdoch? Mr. Beffos? Mr. Musk? Mr. Gates? and keep counting…there are better religions than money your majesties!

What about this brief piece of information: «Yes, my child, you are lovable, and I love you unconditionally» (-spelled out in a myriad of forms) is fundamental for our progress and survival. Was it not, Mr. Trump? According to your niece, a clinical psychologist, is it not why you became an emotionally retard macho man -by lack of love in your family of origin? That impelled you to seek admiration at all costs for the rest of your life, at the cost, as usual, of hurting others?

Of course: DENIED! The macho code clearly states: «A man ought not to suffer by lack of love.»

Amen?

If you did not hear that, as I did not from my unprepared, very hurt parents, family and Nazi culture, your «self» (YOU) are crippled -for life! You will spend the rest of your life trying to mask-deny your wound to survive (at the cost of presenting a false self to the next generation) -or, if you dare, and find a suitable guide, experience the cross -first hand because the cross of the self is not a piece of wood. It is not to have been loved as a child…leading to a partial miscarriage (or abortion of the self in extreme cases) -a severe condition that macho psychiatry ignores at all costs. 

Yes, you still keep functioning like a ‘normal’ human being because to survive you have to silence/deny your emotional pain! A condition unknown by decree to the male of the species. Less they think he is weak!

Please fasten your seat belts; the vast majority of human selves -us- don’t make it to what we were born to be! The rest is «P A I N» that ought to be concealed as non-existent under the macho regime which rules the rooster -or else. And he is soo immensely strong that, like Mr. Trump, he does not think that anything that smells ‘weaknesses’ should exist!

Feral children, like the reported ones raised by animals, do not develop a self.

NO MIRROR (NO LOVE) = NO SELF

To the point: If the mother disappears as the child’s self is forming, fed by the loving information of the mother in particular (better yet by mother, father, family and society at large), the child enters clinically in to what is called: an «Anaclitic Reaction.» It starts with anger protest, provoked by the criminal trauma of the abandonment.

Secondly, it quiets down but goes into a clinical-stage of depression which turns, If the mother, its source of nurturance-mirroring of its existence its-absolute lovability, does not return, the child enters into a state of non-reactivity.

And even if, physically, the child is appropriately taken care of, it eventually enters into inactivation of the organism and death. Mortality rates are very high, most likely due to the dissolution of self that had formed.

One thing I contributed to this field (reported in the above paper) is that you don’t need physical separation from the mother to precipitate mini-anaclitic reactions which add upon each other damaging the self. If the mother nips at the love bond with the child in a myriad of NEGATIVE ways these wounds are sufficient to trigger mini-anaclitic reactions which are additive.

The Separation of our mind from the Deity (perpetrated but never achieved) was the most significant trauma the human mind ever underwent. Far more than a loss of the mother later on in the anaclitic reaction of the mind.

Macho-man will avoid recognizing this:

«Because two gods are a crowd.» We need no God!! We are self-sufficient! Oh yes, including the «right» to self destroy to maintain our pseudo-godship. We MUST be God because we can make nuclear explosions and hypersonic means of bomb delivery…

So be it! Like in Hiroshima, Nagasaki, Pearl Harbour, and so many other «battles,» you «heroically» fought being an emotional coward with too much masculine «pride» to handle! You will fight to the death before recognizing how insane you have become! History is your locutory…and it sounds a bit like a slaughterhouse with more to come!

Oh, psychiatry, the less HONOURABLE of all «sciences» ever made!

It was my karma to be born in Spain!

In my third year of life, my father’s an honourable, apolitical navy man, was court-martialed and sentenced to death by firing squad.

My home, mother included, was destroyed. My country and its corrupt culture; very Catholic, but with an Inquisition, just in case, never had the guts to account for that «Civil War» slaughter. He was not shot, but other members of the family were. For six years, I had a «symbolic» father who I could not touch, kiss, hug, ask for advice because he «was in jail.» Courtesy of my «motherland» and its fascist-macho beliefs. I was «the son of the prisoner.» Like my only brother!

Generalissimo Franco, ‘CAUDILL OF SPAIN BY THE GRACE OF GOD’, (as it read in the coins of that time) was very probably, alexithymic; -couldn’t process feelings and emotions, as you can see in the bovine expression of his face. He was a very sick man; an archetype male of the Separation -who executed his cousin and childhood playmate, another general, to emphasize his loyalty to the extreme right.

THE FIRST REACTION:

Probably, the mind’s first reaction under the weight of the Separation’s enormous trauma was to pass out, to lose awareness, as it happens in the «Bardo of Death» -the state of mind occurring immediately after the body’s death, (-which I experienced in a psychological experiment gone awry).  Like a total blackout of the mind as if under general anesthesia -but brief. It followed with a three bright lights display in my upper right field of vision that merged into an ultra-pristine, huge light before my eyes. It continued thereupon, followed by several well-known stages, such as the vision of the «Peaceful Deities.» «Wrathful Deities,» etc.

You can find that in a general Buddhist book like: «The Tibetan Book of Living and Dying» by Sogyal Rinpoche.

History offers plenty of evidence that we never stepped out collectively, of the cruel, bloody Suffering-Stage -for most of us, we are in now.

The narcissistic male-self is the major obstacle to making that step. But religions don’t like to be there and tend sanctify men for not better reason that they belong to the masculine gender. That is the «tax of being,» we all pay for his hyper-MASCULINE WARS, HIS continuous AGGRESSION, HIS MACHISMO; THE POST-PSYCHOSES OF THE SEPARATION. His denial of the need for a human to be loved…Etc.

Psychologically, Christ was 100% right: the self; the human being, cannot survive without «love.» But to admit such incompleteness is a no-no because it offends macho-man to the hilt. And if you offend His Majesty, you never quite know how he is going to retaliate…because at the core, he has proven to be able to be an assassin…from the Cain branch.

Current insane events predict between the Americans and the Chinese, this time around, forecast a bad outcome.  We are more insane than ever, but our clever means of self-destruction are more and more powerful than ever. 

yes, brother; hats off to the achievements of your Alloplastic intelligence; in how to modify matter and natural forces to create the means of survival in the external world we live in.

But: The «toys» have gotten bigger. Like in hypersonic missiles…But the «boys» haven’t got any wiser in their search to fulfil the dictum: Two gods is a crowd; if there is only one it is ME!

And Mother Earth seems to have had it with our insanity.

Democracy and insanity do not mix. But we don’t care; in an Orwellian proposition: we are too insane to declare ourselves insane!

Do you envisage Russian, American and Chinese Generals and Presidents declaring themselves insane? 

If you do, take a rest; because it is going a looong time…and there will be a lot of more spilled blood and misery until then!

Wait until the next presidential elections in the USA…

Angry-depressed people do not tend to make good decisions. We had a psychiatrically certifiable person (-if psychiatry were not too insane itself -as to miss the fact that we exist via selves?)  ruling a most prominent country in the West -the USA. It will not be the last!

We have another godlike character ruling China under the delusion that he is «god enough» to legislate goodness.

IT NEVER STOPPED!   As expected, the country that offers more freedom is the one acting out more insanity; this is why you see such current mayhem in the U.S.A. Democracy (freedom of the self?) and insanity do not mix. 

We have not demonstrated we are healthy enough to run a true democracy, thus far we have known proto-democracies only!

By the way, God is not something you come to «know» with the same reasoning-intelligence you make hypersonic missiles! God is something you come to know by experience -if you center your life around knowledge and practice of love. The end of all suffering states. -You are insufficient to provide a permanent not-suffering state brother with your favourite type of intelligence. You can provide «feel good» experiences with your potions. -But the price and risks of «drugs» are awful. There are no shortcuts in our psychic lives. Once you get addicted to using them instead of love to obtain well-being, you have almost ruined the profitability of this incarnation of yours!

Why are there more people than ever trying to evade their ‘ordinary’ (if, corrupt) state of mind? Another of your ‘achievements’ brother, to keep God at bay?

Because with One, YOU  is enough!

I am finishing this voyage (eighty-four soon) amazed at how stupid you are!

It cannot be because the values you provide for the moulding of the self with your cultures and your own self «feels soo good!» Because your current prescriptions for selfhood are a recipe for disaster. 

You and your cultures are incapable of giving meaning to the self to be able to live a decent life. (Otherwise, why do you think there are so many suicides?) -just ‘quiet desperation’ will do! 

You have corrupted, rendered meaningless all aspects of life, but still wondering what went wrong…?

Too bad!

The amount of suffering you have inflicted upon our species to be a god is atrocious –»Commander in Chief!»

But you instead deal with macho stuff, like hypersonic, atomic-ready missiles.

A man got to be a man?

But how many methods of enforced disincarnation do you have concocted, brother??

«Executions» to dispose of crooked selves you to create?

To take a life: is it not one of the hallmarks of your immense manhood?

Best way ever to erase that «mistake» of a human being, a self you made via the values of your crooked cultures -designed to elevate you higher -like cults to your self-aggrandizement?

«TWO GODS IS A CROWD. IF THERE IS ONLY ONE GOD, IT IS GOT TO BE ME!»

Boundless cynicism?

Good luck, Omnipotent Brother! It was all too predictable -that you would bring us to the brink –little-insane-god!

As a breed, we took the priest further and further away from the Altar.

As Christians, we took Christ further and further away from the mind.

Oh Yes! You prefer that «High Noon» state of mind of yours!

Good luck, brother and sister. Just do a favour to the next generation.

You have lost track of love: Stop procreating until you achieve the objective of «NO WARS» for a sustained period of time. You are both unfit! And you owe that to our innocent children!! This world of yours is not a suitable place for them.

The preparation you two do not undergo to become parents is APPALLING!

But there is not a Noble Price for Parenthood!

-For creating a self -so perfect, so error-less.

So close to enlightenment as possible.

Because an enlightened self is an errorless self -where the Lovability Principle reigns sovereign with no opposition! Where Christ’s «love each other» -or equivalents- finds no resistance. A faraway cry from the thuggish, brotherless self thus far prescribed to humanity by the error-plagued, power-hungry, hands bloodied -male mind.
