The logic in Germany [not to send Leopard tanks] seems to be that too much military help from the West to Ukraine could provoke Mr. Putin to become nastier yet. The problem with that? Mr. Putin is a bully who preys on weakness. He invaded Ukraine not because he feared it was becoming too strong (or posed a military threat to Russia), but because he judged it—and the West—to be feeble: he expected Russian forces to seize Kyiv within a few days and Western allies to do almost nothing in response.

In facing bullies, it is better to be firm. German dithering on the Leopards risks sending a message to Mr. Putin that Western support for Ukraine is not rock-solid. That, in turn, could be the greater risk. Failing to stand up forcefully to Mr. Putin is a surer way to encourage him to be more aggressive. » 

FROM A PSYCHOSPIRITUAL VIEWPOINT: Mr. Putin is an extremely ANGRY-EMOTIONALLY SICK MAN. A FRATICIDAL WHO WOULD RATHER KILL RIGHT AND LEFT AND, PERHAPS RATHER DIE ON THE SADDLE THAN, LIKE ALL NARCISSISTS, «LOSE FACE.»

AND THAT ANGER IS TRACEABLE TO ELEMENTS OF BEING HUMAN:

FIRST. THE SEPARATION OF OUR MIND FROM THAT OF THE DIVINITY -WHICH, AS I PROPOSED IN ANOTHER ENTRY IN THIS BLOG, PRECIPITATED A CATASTROPHIC ‘ANACLITIC REACTION’ IN WHICH HUMANITY IS STUCK, MOSTLY IN ITS ANGER/PROTEST STAGE.-MEN IN PARTICULAR.

THAT I TO SAY, MEN ARE VERY-VERY ANGRY FRATICIDAL BEASTS! 

OH YES, THERE ARE, OF COURSE, HEROIC EXCEPTIONS, TIPIFIED BY THE ONE THAT DIED ON THE CROSS OVER TWO MILLENNIA AGO…RATHER THAN LIE AND HURT ANYBODY. AND IN OUR god-LIKE HIGHNESS WE ARE ADDING, IN  AMERICAN POLITICS -AT LEAST- THE  ‘POWER OF CREATING ‘NEW REALTIES’ (WHAT AN AMERICAN LADY CLOSE TO MR. TRUMP ONCE CALLED: «PARALLEL FACTS»
